On April 1, 1992 we headed to Ohio from Oregon with our family of 7 (one on the way) in a one-ton conversion van pulling a 37′ repossessed Terry Resort trailer which God miraculously provided for us. (Read that story here.) I had pastored a growing church in Lafayette, OR with some wonderful people: many still keep in contact with us. After a 6-month sermon series on the life of Abraham (Read that story here), God led us into this itinerant evangelistic ministry. We could never have imagined then that this day would come – the celebration of 25 years.
Along the way, many people were encouraged, souls were saved and churches strengthened. However, some wondered – even verbalized, “How long are you going to do this?” Our answer has always been the same. Until God wants us to serve Him in another capacity, or location we’ll just keep on serving the faithful God who called us.
10 RVs later (vans, truck and/or bus) we have visited every contiguous state except Rhode Island, as well as several Canadian Provinces and Mexico. We have ministered in most of them as a family.
